Bram Tihany is an American born artist. He holds a degree in Film & Video Production from Pratt Institute, and works interdisciplinarily in the fields of film, photography, and sculpture. In 2003 Bram founded the New York based creative studio Theory Engine INC, where he serves as creative director, managing the production and design of an extensive portfolio of original art collections, installations, and bespoke commissions for private collectors and clients in the luxury hospitality industry.

While pursuing a diversity of interests in both commercial design and fine art, Bram travels extensively, photographing visual essays around the world. In the field of cinema, he is involved in script and art direction consultancy for independent feature projects, and his award-winning short films have been programmed in numerous film festivals and earned distinguished recognition, including the Kodak Eastman Cinematography Award and inclusion in the Cannes Film Festival’s Emerging Filmmakers Showcase.

Bram lectures regularly on the process of creative development for images in still and moving media, and has participated as a guest advisor for graduate courses at the Parsons School of Design, Pratt Institute School of Architecture, School of Visual Arts, and for the Museum of Modern Art’s Junior Associates Program.

Bram currently lives and works in New York City.
